Join the Payments Controls team as a Vice President, where you will lead Risk and Control management for Fraud and Sanctions Screening utilities. This role involves developing and implementing the Payments controls strategy, collaborating with global and regional partners, and overseeing governance across the program.
As a Vice President of Risk and Control Management within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will lead and manage the end-to-end system of controls to mitigate risk, engage with stakeholders, and oversee governance forums. Your role involves problem-solving, risk management, executive reporting, and team management.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the end-to-end system of controls to mitigate risk, including engagement, reviews, and analysis.
Conduct regular reviews with senior leadership and stakeholder committees to assess priorities across control teams.
Drive problem-solving and data-driven decision-making, including control process design and re-engineering.
Identify and proactively manage risks to the delivery of target operating model strategies.
Deliver high-quality executive reporting and analytics to support business decisions.
Create and deliver executive communications, status reporting, and metrics.
Engage team members, helping them develop skills, experience, knowledge, and capacity.
Oversee primary control responsibilities for all controls impacting Sanctions and Regulatory Operations globally.
Chair governance forums and play a key escalation role as needed.
Oversee the execution of a regular testing program of the existing control framework.
Collaborate with global and regional partners to implement the Payments controls strategy.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities: Experience in Control design, Risk assessment, and Key Risk Indicator development.
Audit, CCOR, and Regulatory Exam readiness and management experience.
Ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative approaches, and communicate effectively.
Relevant Payment industry experience with business management and financial expertise.
Experience managing global teams and relationships with dispersed stakeholders.
Proven ability to achieve quality results in a high-pressure environment.
