Position: Shipping & Receiving Associate We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Shipping & Receiving Associate

to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring that our products are shipped accurately and received efficiently, supporting both our operations and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Shipping: Fabricate boxes, crates, and skids for outgoing shipments.

Coordinate with freight vendors to obtain shipping rates.

Prepare necessary shipping documents, including packing slips, labels, and bills of lading.

Process shipments via FedEx, UPS, couriers, and other carriers.

Assist customers and couriers with pickups and inquiries.

Load shipments and maintain accurate shipping records in the LFS database.

Forward tracking information to customers as needed.

Review and approve shipping invoices.

Monitor and manage shipping supply inventory.

Receiving: Unload and inspect incoming deliveries.

Notify purchasing managers immediately of any shortages or damages.

Enter received goods information into the purchase order database accurately.

Inventory & Warehouse Management: Conduct periodic inventory counts as required.

Keep shelves and warehouse areas organized, labeled, and clean.

Maintain clear and safe shipping and receiving docks.

Close and secure the warehouse at the end of each day.

Other Responsibilities: Assist with special projects and team assignments as needed.

Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency with computers and basic databases.

Basic knowledge of packing and shipping processes ("Packing 101").

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.

There is a background check and drug screening after acceptance of position and prior to starting.
