Now, we're looking for a Head of Data Partnerships to help us build Exa's data pipeline! About the Role As a Head of Data Partnerships at Exa, you'll be the first-of-a-kind! You'll build a pipeline from 0-1 with companies to negotiate and close key data contracts. We're looking for someone with a strong legal and business background to fulfill this role. What You'll Do Own the data partnerships cycle— from outbound to negotiations to close Make strategic data decisions— our data sets us apart Develop and execute strategies to land high-value partners Work closely with founders, engineers, and go-to-market teams Negotiate contracts, hit targets, and drive growth Eventually, build out a team for Data Partnerships What You'll Need 1+ years in a legal role, with a JDExperience in contract negotiation, ideally having worked with privacy lawThe ability to pick up highly technical concepts quickly, and speak to it confidently to external stakeholders and potential partnersComfort in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment
