Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust security solutions across our network infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure the stability, reliability, and protection of our network environment through proactive management, continuous monitoring, and best practice security measures. Key Responsibilities: Configure and manage Cisco Catalyst Switches (IOS), Cisco Nexus Switches (NXOS), and Alcatel Lucent Switches (AOS) to maintain a secure and high-performing network. Implement, configure, and maintain Palo Alto and Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls for network security and access control. Administer Alcatel Lucent Wireless Controllers to ensure a secure and reliable wireless network environment. Utilize SolarWinds NPM (Network Performance Monitor) and NCM (Network Configuration Manager) for proactive network monitoring and configuration management. Manage and maintain ClearPass Policy Manager for network access control, authentication, and policy enforcement. Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability testing to ensure compliance with security standards. Troubleshoot complex network security incidents, implement remediation plans, and document resolutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure network solutions that meet business needs. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in network security engineering. Proficiency in configuring and managing: Cisco Catalyst Switches (IOS), Cisco Nexus Switches (NXOS), and Alcatel Lucent Switches (AOS) Palo Alto and Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls Alcatel Lucent Wireless Controllers Experience with SolarWinds NPM/NCM for network monitoring and configuration. Skilled in ClearPass Policy Manager for network access control and policy enforcement. Strong understanding of network protocols, security architectures, and industry best practices. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
