Job Summary: Usul is redefining how companies and governments interact around the world through their AI platform. They are seeking a Founding Technical Product Manager to build user experiences that transform how defense companies discover and win contracts, working directly with the founders and engineers to design and ship full-stack web applications. Responsibilities: • Intuitive interfaces using NextJS and React that are simple and actually make sense to users • Translating User Feedback into product experiences with our CPO that defense contractors will rely upon and want to use daily • Design systems and component libraries that scale across our platform • Full-stack applications from Figma designs to production code, owning the entire pipeline • AI-first workflows that replace manual processes and reduce user effort by 100x. We’re building the cars to the horse carriages. Qualifications: Required: • 1+ years of experience in product management or related field • Experience with full-stack web applications • Proficiency in NextJS and React • Ability to translate user feedback into product experiences • Experience in designing systems and component libraries • Familiarity with AI-first workflows • Strong communication skills to work directly with CPO and engineers • Ability to conduct user research and observe user interactions • Experience in building intuitive user interfaces Preferred: • Experience with Python and/or Go • Familiarity with LLMs such as Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic • Experience with Playwright and VectorDBs • Experience with cloud platforms like GCP and AWS Company: Fast growing defense companies use Usul to win hundreds of millions in missed contract opportunities.
