The Wealth Management Associate is often the first point of contact with clients, providing services related to account servicing, financial planning, and investment portfolios. Under the supervision of the Financial Advisor / Private Wealth Advisor, this role combines relationship management, marketing skills, and product knowledge to build long-term client relationships. The associate must work collaboratively across teams and the firm to respond promptly and accurately to client inquiries. This position is vital to the advisory team, ensuring a positive client experience and timely delivery of commitments. Duties and Responsibilities : Establish and nurture trusting relationships with clients, helping them understand their investments and planning strategies, often with team guidance. Assist Financial Advisors / Private Wealth Advisors in developing and delivering financial and investment strategies tailored to clients' goals. Lead efforts to enhance the client experience, emphasizing value, service, and attention to detail. Utilize the firm's financial planning tools to analyze complex data and assist in client presentations. Prepare performance reports, evaluate account performance, and generate investment monitors. Educate clients about the firm's products and services. Create presentation materials and proposals to support business development. Participate in or conduct client meetings alongside advisors. Assist with order execution in Brokerage and Advisory accounts. Support clients with market and stock research. Design and produce reports and communications for marketing initiatives. Conduct quarterly and annual business reviews with clients in partnership with advisors. Organize and manage events, webinars, and seminars in collaboration with advisors. Business Development & Operational Support : Create marketing materials and manage account performance metrics to attract new clients. Collaborate on business planning and marketing strategies. Implement and communicate service protocols, products, and portfolio enhancements. Identify practice management opportunities across departments. Coordinate client enrollment campaigns and meetings. Delegate tasks to Client Service Associates as appropriate. Build relationships with internal and external partners. Provide tailored client recommendations to advisors. Participate in firm initiatives led by local management. Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills : Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience. Bachelor’s degree or professional certification preferred. Active SIE, Series 7, and 66 (or 63 and 65) licenses; additional licenses may be required. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills. Knowledge of financial industry and investment products preferred. Understanding of compliance rules and firm policies. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Leadership qualities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
