Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, ARRT(R)(CT) certification, and proficiency on Siemens and GE scanners for a fast-paced emergency department weekend night shift.

Responsibilities Work setting is an emergency department predominantly utilizing Siemens scanners (S3000 and Sequoia models) and GE scannersPatient population includes infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatricsTypical weekend schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 12-hour night shifts from 19:45 to 08:15Caseload ranges from 150-200 scans daily across 4 roomsNo call or floating requiredProcedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstructionUses Epic and Visage EMR/charting systemsRoyal blue scrubs are requiredRole involves performing CT scans on routine emergency cases, code stroke, and trauma patients in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentWeekend shifts are staffed with two technologists; after 5pm there are typically two to three techs, and one tech on third shiftNo weekend RTO permitted and no RTO allowed during first week of assignmentCandidate must work two out of three major holidays, and RTO of up to 7 days is possible if not on a holidayCandidates who have previously worked at this health system as PERM, PRN, or EP staff must have a 12-month gap to be considered, and previous employees require rehire approvalTravelers must not exceed five consecutive working days or 60 hours in one weekFatigue policy, testing, and annual training modules must be completed pre-start and annuallyCandidates with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility will be considered localTravel pairs are allowed but must work on different units
