You will support distribution and logistics global sourcing strategy execution, contract administration, supplier management, and category reporting. About the Job
Partner with Global Category Lead to develop a D&L strategy
Support RFx activities (e.g. Freight RFP's) including bid analysis, supplier communication, and document preparation.
Analyze logistics spend and freight rate data to identify trends and support sourcing decisions.
Manage logistics contract database and track contract expirations, renewals, and compliance milestones
Support cost benchmarking, fuel surcharge tracking, and KPI reporting across carriers and warehouses
Collaborate with supply chain stakeholders to ensure sourcing process understanding and issue resolution.
You will report into our Sr. Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain
Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather, evaluate, and draw conclusions from a range of data sources
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and savings achievements.
Form a point of view and identify questions based on analysis
Easily make connections among previously unrelated notions, findings or data points
Share anomalies or important data points
Challenge research briefs provided to ensure accuracy and relevance of final research output.
Adapt reporting output to ensure the report is meaningful to a specific audience.
Explain and understand reporting outputs
Develop executive summaries highlighting possible effects of information
Manage the project plan, lead ongoing internal and external communication and escalate as needed.
Deliver Savings reporting and status updates to GSS leadership and partner leadership
Track and measure personal and team Projects in GSS PM tool
Leverage critical sourcing technology in the sourcing process
Key Results: Accuracy and timeliness of D&L related analysis including RFP proposals, global category spend, rate comparison, and market trends
Up-to-date maintenance of project management systems and savings tracking for executive reporting
Promote compliance with internal purchase policy and contracting processes
Annual Savings targets: Contribute to team savings targets and achievement of individual target
Additional Information and Key Metrics: Measure progress against defined metrics
Build relationships with key partners
Achieve cost savings targets
About You
3+ years of experience with focus in Supply chain, Distribution and Logistic support.
Proficiency in excel (can perform complex functions) and data analysis for logistics cost modeling and scenario planning
Familiarity with e-sourcing tools and freight bid platforms
Understanding of logistics and distribution operations, carrier contracts, and freight terms
This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs. The expected starting salary range for this role is $67,200-$105,600 per year

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs. #LI-Hybrid EOE M/F/Disability/Vets
