Days and some weekends The compensation range of $114,000 - $134,700 annually is an estimate based on current circumstances. Pathways Home Health & Hospice may pay more or less than this range as permitted by law. Position Summary:

The Hospice Client Relations Executive (CRE) acts as a field-based business development representative, contributing to the organization’s objectives by meeting referral and admission targets. The CRE travels to various referral sources and potential patients, communicating Pathways Hospice services, patient criteria, and agency policies to secure appropriate contracts. This role involves maintaining and expanding market share and working with leadership to develop strategies to achieve revenue, patient experience, and profitability goals. Areas of Responsibility: Supports Pathways’ mission to exceed customer, staff, and shareholder expectations by delivering high-quality healthcare and support services with a caring approach. Adheres to the Corporate Compliance Program, including confidentiality of HIPAA-protected information. Meets or exceeds monthly admission targets as determined by the supervisor and branch budget. Identifies and qualifies healthcare relationships within the regional territory, focusing on skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, community-based residential facilities, physicians, and hospital systems as referral sources. The CRE is expected to make a specified number of site visits and calls each month to expand referral networks. Develops and maintains relationships with key contacts through regular contact and follow-up. Acts as the primary contact for client troubleshooting and conflict resolution. Develops and executes a yearly business plan for the region to exceed budgets and goals. Maintains accurate data on customer relationships within the CRM system to support relationship building and customer satisfaction. Communicates daily with branches to exchange vital client information. Completes weekly reports on field activities and results. Represents Pathways in professional organizations and community events. Assists in proposal preparation and presentations. Analyzes contracts and makes recommendations. Educates the community about hospice services. Performs other duties as assigned. Following patient referral, the CRE collaborates with discharge coordinators to coordinate quality home care services, ensuring effective communication and support among involved disciplines, and providing guidance on hospice eligibility and election processes. Only qualified healthcare professionals can complete hospice election documentation and counsel patients and families about hospice services. Qualifications: Healthcare professional credential, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent business experience. At least one year of related sales experience, preferably in healthcare or patient transportation. Strong sales, customer service, and relationship-building skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Strong organizational, time management, and presentation skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups. Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to travel as needed.
