Position Overview : Reporting directly to the Head of U.S. Partnership Engagement & Strategy, the Senior Vice President, Partnership Engagement Northeast Region will assume primary responsibility for the distribution and sales strategy for the Northeast region in support of the organization's growth and profitability objectives. Responsibilities :
Establish executive-level, leadership presence in the Northeast including New England, Philadelphia, and Washington DC metro areas. Maintain engagement with brokerage leaders in the region to increase awareness of Ascot's diverse platform of risk solutions. Partner with Ascot North America Partnership Engagement team and Business Unit underwriting leaders (and teams) to drive forward distribution strategy in direct support of the organization's growth and profitability objectives. Support "Go to Market" strategy for the various product segments within the US Insurance, Bermuda Insurance, and Ethos operations to address regional distribution channel needs. Support all new product launches with key distribution strategies and client management underpinned by industry targeting. Manage weekly and monthly reporting capturing trading relationships, performance tracking, and a variety of metrics using a tailored Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Contribute positively to Ascot meeting or exceeding profitable topline growth goals via the origination of in-appetite submissions. Client (Broker) Management :
Maintain regular communication with key client (broker) personnel across major trading partners. Maintain key broker agreements and ensure execution upon agreed-upon key performance indicators. Manage a schedule of intentional and consistent broker interactions, events, and engagement for key retail, wholesale, and delegated authority partners. Support Ascot's regional client and broker events. Analyze and report summary findings from relevant Management Information systems across production KPIs and advise on strategies to improve. Manage key contacts and engagements via the Ascot Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Requirements :
Current and demonstrable geographic knowledge of, and relationships with, distribution partners in the metro Northeast marketplace across both Retail and Wholesale Channels. Minimum 15 years of industry experience, a combination of insurance and technology/sales is viewed as a positive. Self-motivated individual with strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Strong interpersonal and networking skills professionally and within the Insurance community. Proficiency in omni-channel distribution, broad market awareness, and knowledge of insurance brokerage channels: Retail, Wholesale, Digital Aggregators. Analytical and financial acumen with experience owning regional revenue forecasting. Data-driven, experience using a CRM tool as a daily method of organization and job function. Strong business development, client engagement, relationship management skills including account rounding, retention, and business development skills. Compensation :
Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, and skills. The base pay is just one component of Ascot's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and other forms of discretionary compensation awarded by the Company. The annualized base pay range for this role is $260,000 - $280,000.
