Apply now Position: Senior Actuary - Life Insurance & Annuities Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid On-Site) Work Authorization: U.S. Required Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week About the Organization: A well-established life insurance provider with over 50 years of industry experience, known for its financial strength and commitment to helping families manage end-of-life expenses. Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned actuary to join our team, bringing expertise in pricing, reinsurance, product development, and in-force management within the life insurance and annuities sector. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to both new business initiatives and the optimization of existing portfolios. Key Responsibilities: Lead product design, pricing, and implementation efforts for life and annuity products Conduct system testing to ensure accurate product illustration and administration Analyze and evaluate new and existing reinsurance agreements Monitor market trends and competitive positioning, particularly in the fixed annuities space Support core actuarial functions for subsidiary insurance entities, including valuation, cash flow analysis, pro forma modeling, and risk management Collaborate on strategic projects with senior leadership, including the Chief Actuary and CFO Partner cross-functionally with teams such as Accounting, Marketing, and IT to drive business outcomes Preferred Qualifications: Strong background in life insurance and annuities Experience with GGY AXIS modeling software Familiarity with U.S. Statutory and/or GAAP financial reporting Self-motivated, organized, and resourceful with excellent analytical skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team-oriented environment Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Company-paid life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance Paid parental leave Generous vacation, sick leave, and holiday schedule We support the Financial Sciences & Services industry with talent that can truly shape the future of a business.Whether that be Quantitative Analyti...
