Our client is seeking a diligent and dynamic Operations Manager with a background as a project coordinator or project manager and a strong foundation in business and analytics, to join our Airbnb Scaled Ops team. This team encompasses various disciplines, including vetting operations, copywriting, photography, and video, focused on maintaining and promoting the quality of our supply. The primary goal is to ensure the highest quality supply on our platform.
The Difference You Will Make
The Operations Manager will collaborate closely with the Education & Quality and Supply Operations teams on testing incentives and initiatives across Experiences and Services. The ideal candidate will excel in managing projects, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and creating and managing workflows to ensure timely issue resolution and effective feedback loops with hosts. This role is vital in supporting workflow optimization and data-driven decision-making to enhance operational efficiency and customer service. The candidate should be self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering creative solutions amidst changing constraints. A collaborative attitude, empathy, and a resolute focus are essential qualities.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate operational projects, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and timelines are met. Organize and analyze survey feedback to extract actionable insights for operational and customer improvements. Design, implement, and refine workflows and business processes. Maintain clear communication and collaboration with Account Managers, Business Operations, Analytics, and other teams. Manage feedback loops with hosts to improve engagement and satisfaction. Document and integrate new processes into team workflows. Track project progress and use metrics for adjustments. Support operational continuity by managing bug reporting and resolution after deployment. Keep transparent records of workflows, decisions, and results. Requirements & Skills
2-3+ years of project management or coordination experience, preferably in business operations or analytics-focused environments. Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Proven experience in managing operational projects from start to finish. Strong analytical skills: data synthesis, trend identification, and actionable recommendations. Exceptional organizational skills, including developing systems for time-sensitive tasks. Proficient with Google Suite; experience with Airtable, SQL, Salesforce CRM, or similar tools is a plus. Expertise in Excel and Google Sheets. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent prioritization, multitasking, and time management skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Collaborative, solution-focused mindset. Passion for hospitality and delivering excellent experiences to a global audience.
