Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs - Consumer Platform Policy

Intuit, the global financial technology platform that makes TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, is looking for an innovative and strategic policy leader and advocate to join our Global Corporate Affairs and Public Policy (GCAPP) team with a specific focus on Consumer Platform policy priorities and advocacy.

This position reports to the director leading the consumer group public policy and collaborates closely with colleagues in Legal, Compliance, Policy, and Consumer Platform teams. This role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week on-site at our Washington, DC office. We value in-person collaboration to foster connection, creativity, innovation, and to enhance productivity. Responsibilities
Develop and manage a comprehensive public policy portfolio focused on consumer tax preparation and finance. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to craft and contribute to policy submissions with regulators. Implement strategies to manage external relationships aligned with our tax administration priorities. Analyze and track policy developments, and contribute to advocacy efforts through policy papers and talking points. Engage third-party organizations, trade associations, and coalitions to create a favorable policy environment. Collaborate with business leaders, legal, and government affairs teams to develop and execute advocacy strategies before policymakers and regulators. Advise internal partners with expert insights. Identify opportunities and risks from global policy and regulatory changes. Perform other duties as assigned. Intuit offers a competitive compensation package, including base salary, bonus, equity, and benefits. The expected base pay range for this role in Washington, DC, is
$194,000 - $262,500 . Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and location. We are committed to pay equity across all demographics. Minimum qualifications include: At least 10 years of relevant experience in financial services, advocacy, or related fields. Deep knowledge of consumer tax and financial services policy. Strong relationships with policymakers and regulators. Proven coalition-building and reputation management skills. Self-motivated with excellent relationship-building capabilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degrees (MBA, law) preferred. Willingness to travel as needed.
