Senior Director, Data Management

Meet is actively partnering with a clinical stage biotech in San Diego looking to hire a Head of Clinical Data Management (Director or Senior Director). Reporting directly to the VP of Clinical Operations, you would lead a high-performing team with strong visibility at the senior leadership level. They’re well-funded, mission-driven, and offer a competitive compensation package. Please note: this position requires onsite work in San Diego. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a health-related discipline. Minimum of 10 years’ clinical data management experience within a regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment. Proven track record in successfully leading a Clinical Data Management (CDM) team or department. Extensive experience collaborating with CROs, vendors, and internal study teams. Deep knowledge of clinical systems, regulatory guidelines, and industry standards, with a strong ability to apply them to data management practices. Skilled in planning and coordinating project work to meet timelines and deliverables across departmental, functional, and external stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to exploring innovative solutions. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex scientific data effectively to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
