Responsible for underwriting, credit monitoring, and portfolio management of Commercial Real Estate relationships to achieve efficiencies and quality of the process and product. Assist in the retention and expansion of existing client relationships, growth of total client assets, and net growth in relationships. Primary responsibilities include analyzing financial data to assess new loan and renewal/modification requests (including adherence to Lending Policy), preparing comprehensive credit presentations, and monitoring loan performance to ensure timely and accurate risk ratings. Assist Relationship Managers and other Portfolio Managers with underwriting models and templates. Participate in special projects as needed. Job Accountabilities Ensure portfolio administration and risk management of each client relationship comply with established policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Co-manage commercial real estate relationships by analyzing borrower and guarantor financial data, property, and market information to evaluate loan requests, including originations, renewals, modifications, and reviews. Monitor portfolio performance and ensure timely risk ratings. Oversee loan repayment activities, property performance, and financial condition of obligors. Minimize portfolio exceptions related to past due payments, reviews, scorecards, reporting, and covenants. Assist with due diligence and analysis for new client relationships and opportunity memos. Partner with Relationship Managers as a primary contact for clients and liaise with Credit and support staff. Make presentations on specific loans and participate in the bank's loan approval process. Contribute to special projects as needed. Participate in community and business functions to promote a positive bank image. Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting required. Experience 3-5 years in Commercial Real Estate or Credit Approval required. 3-5 years handling complex credits preferred. 0-2 years sales experience and formal credit training preferred. Licenses and Certifications CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) preferred by start date. Must have reliable transportation and ability to drive if applicable. The salary range for this role is $62,440.00 - $107,040.00 per year.
