is actively seeking a

Level 1 IT Support Specialist

to support a client in the federal space. 90% Remote – Must live in DC/VA/MD Area Occasional travel (1–2 times per year) for meetings or training is expected. Key Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for technical support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system. Troubleshoot and resolve routine issues; escalate complex cases to higher-tier support as needed. Manage account-related requests, including password resets and access troubleshooting. Document issues, create service reports, and maintain up-to-date User Guides and FAQs. Collaborate with Level 2 and Level 3 teams to resolve escalated technical issues. Retrieve and provide specific application data to support user needs and reporting. Participate in team meetings to review ongoing challenges and coordinate solutions. Qualifications: Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities. Foundational understanding of computer systems and software functionality. Experience using ticketing systems or help desk tools. Clear and professional verbal communication skills, with strong phone etiquette. Ability to convey technical steps and processes in a way that is easy for users to understand.
