Job Overview: The Project Controls Engineer (PCE) manages project coordination, scheduling, and controls from pre-construction to closeout. Responsibilities include overseeing engineering compliance, updating project schedules, managing costs, and reporting. The PCE works closely with the project team, including the Project Manager, Site Manager, and Field Engineers, to ensure project success.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Engineering:

Lead and mentor Field Engineers, support safety and quality protocols, coordinate design issues, manage RFI processes, and oversee site documentation and permits.

Project Controls:

Collaborate on budgeting, reporting, schedule updates, cost analysis, and process improvements. May assume site operations in the Site Manager's absence.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.

3-5 years in renewables or solar experience preferred.

Experience as a PCE in EPC firms is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat/BlueBeam, scheduling software like P6, and engineering tools.

Strong communication, supervisory, and organizational skills.

Willingness to relocate to project site for durations of 6-15 months.

Benefits:

Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 annually, based on experience.

Additional compensation includes overtime, bonuses, and per diem.

Pay Range:

$95,000 - $105,000.
