Albany Medical College is seeking a
full-time faculty member
to join the
Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology
in our Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a busy, full-scope academic setting with access to a wide range of clinical, surgical, and educational resources.
About the Department
Full-service tertiary care department with:
30 part-time and full-time physicians
10 advanced practice providers
2 full-time genetic counselors
24 residents and 6 fellows
Over
2,500 deliveries per year
Annual
ambulatory clinic volume of 18,000+ visits
Over
2,000 generalist surgical cases
and 250+ family planning procedures per year
Patient population includes
complex maternal and fetal co‑morbidities
Key Responsibilities
Provide
general obstetrical and gynecological care
in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Participate in
hospital and home call coverage
Engage in
teaching medical students and residents
Opportunities for
clinical research
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Eligible for or currently licensed in the
New York State
Board certified or board eligible in
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient‑centered care
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Interest in
teaching and academic medicine
