Job Description
We are currently seeking a full-time Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) based in or near St. Simons Island, Georgia. Clinic coverage may include the coastal Golden Isles region, as well as nearby communities throughout Southeast Georgia and Northern Florida. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a variety of outpatient settings while enjoying the charm of a coastal town and the flexibility of regional travel.
Deliver high-quality physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Assist in implementing treatment plans to improve patient mobility, strength, and independence
Instruct patients in proper exercise techniques and use of equipment
Document patient progress accurately and timely, maintaining compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
Communicate clearly with patients, caregivers, and the clinical team
Support overall clinic operations and collaborate with rehab technicians and other staff as needed
Adapt quickly to different clinical settings and patient populations throughout the travel coverage area
Qualifications
Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
Current state of Georgia license, CPR certification
Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills
Outgoing and energetic personality
New graduates are welcome!
