Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will be an essential part of the assembly line, working alongside 5-8 other assemblers. Your primary task will be assembling small to medium-sized motors, ensuring each component is meticulously put together.

Responsibilities

Pull parts from receiving and bring them over to the assembly line.

Use hand tools to assemble back plates and seals together.

Take the head of the motor and use a punch press if additional holes are needed for screws.

Ensure each motor is assembled accurately and sent down the line to Quality Control for inspection.

Meet the target of assembling 200 motors per week.

Essential Skills

1-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in reading calipers and tape measures.

Ability to read blueprints and instructions.

Capability to work efficiently in a very fast-paced environment and switch between job duties as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of motor parts and hydraulics.

Work Environment

Work in an air-conditioned shop surrounded by fellow assemblers. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, with minimal overtime. Dress code includes jeans, a work shirt, and steel-toed shoes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Katy, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
