Sustainability Manager

for our Facilities Management team in Washington DC. You will support specific buildings, driving sustainability strategies, policies, programs, and initiatives. You will leverage your experience to support innovation, utilizing best practices and leading-edge technology in building management for a large financial institution. Collaborating with site leadership, you will help establish policies, set directions, and report on progress. The role includes researching sustainability areas such as Data Analytics, Technology, Energy Conservation, Green Cleaning, Waste Management, Recycling, Landscaping, and more. You will assist in developing and implementing programs to improve environmental impact while aligning with business goals, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. This is a full-time, salaried position with a salary range of $125,000 to $130,000, working Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have at least one of the following certifications: LEED AP, Certified Energy Manager, Renewable Energy Professional, ISSP, or Certified Facility Manager. Education requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years managing or leading sustainability programs is preferred, especially in facilities management and operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills, is required. Critical thinking and project management experience are advantageous, particularly in planning and coordination. Experience can substitute for education. Certification in ISSP, IFMA, or LEED is preferred but not required. EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled
