Firmware Engineer III Duties:

As an embedded software/firmware developer, you will work on next-generation Digital Door Lock products by developing embedded firmware applications in BLE, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, and other network technologies. Collaborate with internal and contract firmware developers and architects involved in design, system architecture discussions, hardware analysis, and application design. Work closely with the hardware team during design, development, and integration phases. Program and debug code, write automated unit test scripts for developed or integrated features, participate in code reviews, optimize code, and focus on power management. Engage in code review processes, unit testing, feature integration, and promote best coding practices to build high-quality embedded firmware applications. Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and Assurance, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded software or firmware development, including: At least 3 years in design, development, and testing of complex, multi-threaded embedded applications and communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, or UART. At least 2 years programming in C, optimizing for code size, execution speed, and memory usage, with experience in interrupts, exception handling, and power management.
