Duties:
Handle civil litigation cases through trial, including depositions, oral arguments, hearings, and settlement negotiations. Manage client communications with timely updates on case status. Handle appearances and assignments independently with minimal supervision. Participate in settlement negotiations and provide strategic legal guidance. Maintain case files, research legal issues, and prepare documentation. Ensure procedural compliance in litigation and settlement processes. Requirements:
7+ years of litigation and trial experience, especially in construction defect and insurance defense. Proficiency in managing cases from inception to trial, including depositions and hearings. Experience in settlement negotiations and client support throughout litigation. Ability to independently manage cases with minimal supervision. Licensed to practice law in Florida; additional licenses are a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in Florida. Additional state bar licenses are advantageous. Skills:
Strong litigation and trial skills in construction defect and insurance defense cases. Expertise in depositions, hearings, and oral arguments.
