We’re looking for engineers who are: Passionate about
building high-performance mobile applications on iOS and/or Android Excited about
working with modern mobile frameworks and optimizing mobile experiences Experienced in
native development (Swift, Kotlin) and/or cross-platform development (React Native, Flutter, etc.) Typical Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications
for iOS, Android, or cross-platform solutions
Optimize
performance, responsiveness, and security
across mobile platforms
Build and maintain
APIs, offline storage, and cloud integration
for mobile applications
Work closely with
UX/UI designers, backend teams, and product managers
to create seamless experiences
Ensure applications
follow best practices
in mobile architecture, testing, and deployment
Implement
automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions
for mobile apps
Research and integrate
new mobile technologies and frameworks
to improve scalability and user experience
Common Qualifications
While each startup has its own hiring criteria, many
senior mobile engineering
roles in our network look for: 5+ years of experience
in mobile application development for iOS and/or Android
Proficiency in
Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android)
for native development
Experience with
cross-platform frameworks
such as React Native, Flutter, or MAUI
Strong understanding of
mobile UI/UX principles, animations, and accessibility best practices
Familiarity with
REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and real-time data synchronization
Experience working with
local storage (SQLite, Core Data, Room), cloud services (Firebase, AWS, GCP), and push notification frameworks
Proficiency in
mobile app security practices , authentication (OAuth, JWT), and encryption techniques
Knowledge of
CI/CD pipelines and mobile deployment tools
(App Store Connect, Google Play Console, Fastlane)
Experience in
early-stage startups or fast-paced product environments
is a plus
