Position Summary:

Join our team as a Maintenance Lead, where you will take charge of our dedicated maintenance team, ensuring the seamless operation and repair of production equipment, machinery, and facility systems. Your leadership will play a vital role in minimizing downtime, adhering to safety standards, and supporting our production goals through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives. You will report directly to the Maintenance Manager or Plant Manager. Benefits & Perks: Competitive salary range of $85,000-$95,000 annually, based on your experience and qualifications. Essential Functions - Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring timely completion of work orders and preventive maintenance tasks. Oversee the maintenance of all production equipment, tools, and facility infrastructure. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules aimed at reducing unplanned downtime and extending equipment life. Review completed work orders and analyze data to improve mean time between failures (MTBF). Assess maintenance needs and establish efficient methods for executing work. Plan and schedule maintenance activities, prepare repair kits, and manage project timelines. Set priorities based on skill availability and estimate hours and materials for work orders. Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment failures across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and OSHA regulations, fostering a culture of safety and accountability. Train, mentor, and coach team members on equipment knowledge, troubleshooting techniques, and best maintenance practices. Track maintenance work orders via our CMMS to ensure accurate completion and high-quality work. Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts to facilitate efficient repairs and minimize downtime. Manage inventory and distribution of tools. Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in capital improvement projects, including new equipment installations or relocations. Assist in equipment upgrades and process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and productivity. Contribute to annual budget planning focused on maintenance operations and facility upgrades. Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered. 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, systems, and maintenance best practices. Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Strong commitment to safety, quality, and ongoing improvement. Experience with saws and vinyl welding equipment is advantageous. Willingness to work flexible hours to support production needs. Work Environment: Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
