What to Expect
The Sr. Mobility Credit Associate is responsible for underwriting and risk management of commercial equipment, vehicle, fleet and inventory financing credit lines, with a strong focus on financial analysis & financial statement spreading to support credit decisions and operational processes.
What You Will Do
1.
Financial Statement Spreading & Analysis
•
Spread and analyze dealer financial statements in the financial spreading system or manual spreadsheet, ensuring accurate data capture, normalization, and reconciliation from varied statement formats (audited, tax-based, company prepared).
•
Develop and maintain spreadsheet templates for financial analysis, including automation for ratios, trend analysis, and schedule roll-ups.
•
Identify anomalies and document adjustments, providing clear, formula-driven audit trails in the financial spreading system or manual spreadsheet.
2.
Credit Underwriting & Approval Package
•
Integrate financial spreading results into credit write-ups, clearly highlighting risk factors and mitigants supported by quantified metrics.
•
Present financial conclusions to Credit Manager and other internal reviewers, using charts, ratio analysis, and scenario summaries to drive clarity.
•
Ensure all spreading documentation is audit-ready for internal and regulatory review.
3.
Portfolio & Ongoing Risk Monitoring
•
Maintain and update models in the financial system or manual spreadsheet for annual and monthly dealer reviews.
•
Track dealer compliance, borrowing base limits, and other covenants using spreadsheet dashboards.
•
Perform annual portfolio and insurance reviews for all customers.
4.
Payment Calculator & Spreadsheet Tools Development
•
Design and build custom payment calculators in the financial systems or manual spreadsheet to model principal, interest, curtailments, and fee scenarios for dealer floorplan and commercial loan structures.
5.
Process Improvement & Collaboration
•
Recommend enhancements to the financing systems or manual spreadsheet processes, templates, and calculator logic.
•
Train Sales and internal stakeholders in financial document requirements and effective information gathering.
