ABOUT THE ROLE TEKTRA is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

BIM/Revit Specialist

to join our growing prefabrication and framing design team. This role may be based at our manufacturing facility in Grand Junction or our design office in Basalt, Colorado. You will collaborate closely with our design, manufacturing, and project management teams to produce accurate 3D framing models, component shop drawings, and documentation using

Autodesk Revit

with the

MWF framing plugin .

The ideal candidate is passionate about building technology, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys turning architectural and engineering concepts into precise, buildable components.

RESPONSIBILITIES Develop detailed Revit models of wood framed wall, floor, and roof components Generate component shop drawings for use in manufacturing Interpret Architectural, Structural and Truss drawings into coordinated fabrication models Coordinate with engineering, site, and production teams to ensure constructability and accuracy Prepare layout and assembly drawings for field installation Participate in QA/QC of design outputs Assist in creating Revit families and automation workflows to streamline the design process Perform BIM coordination and clash detection

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field Proficiency in Revit is required (demonstrated through past projects or portfolio) Prior experience with MWF framing plugin Understanding of wood framing systems and construction documentation Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established workflows Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Experience with prefabrication, modular, or panelized construction is a plus
