We are hiring a Master Scheduler to work onsite in Hawthorne, CA.
Responsibilities: Creates MPS Based on demand and resources available. (Assemblies and subassemblies) Monitors MPS production compliance (Volume). Aligns and audit ERP to match MPS. (ERP parameters, Dates, changes routes for outsourcing process) In conjunction with the production planner, manages and adjusts Manufacturing Dates. Provides Weekly production outputs (based on the MPS, Planned VS Actuals). Analysis and provide feedback for expedite requests from sales. Tracks new CO and CO changes. Works with the production planners to provide Clear to Build for new CO. Manages special production runs and coordinates with the production planner to execute. Aligns with production on a weekly basis to define capacity and resources. Monitors MO aging, FG, assembly and subassembly inventory. Provides items conversion suggestions to optimize inventory levels. E&O material management. Responsible for CO shipments (Priorities and plan). Schedules and Manages the MPS meetings.
Qualifications: At least a minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in material/production planning and procurement in a mid-to-large company, preferably in manufacturing; or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field and minimum of years of directly related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience Solid understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Material Review Planning (MRP) knowledge required Knowledgeable and experience in electronic components required APICS CPIM and or ISM Certified preferred Basic knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100 strongly preferred Greenbelt Lean Manufacturing 6 Sigma certificate or equivalent training preferred Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/6 Sigma/ Kaizen preferred Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Office applications tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Must be able to travel to Supplier base location
