Roles / Responsibilities of this position include: Strong agronomic knowledge of crops in the region Maintaining and expanding business relationships at the distributor and grower level, from sales to technical support Inventory management Travel required, including occasional regional sales training Ability to learn, absorb and communicate highly technical information Responsible for maintaining and growing product sales in territory
Ideal candidates will have a skillset that includes: Mandatory prior experience in the industry Existing relationships with distributors and/or growers in the region Four-year agriculture or agribusiness-related degree preferred Strong communication skills to understand the needs of individual users and the business, and to collaborate frequently on plans and progress for both Ability to present technical information to groups of distributor representatives and growers High integrity and a team mindset Comfortable use of a computer, including the following applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and a CRM system (HubSpot preferred). Strong organizational and time-management skills, along with the ability to multi-task
