The IP Specialist will be a vital contributor to the company's Intellectual Property Department and will focus on managing daily IP-related tasks in support of the team's IP Counsel across a range of responsibilities. Key Duties Support the implementation and execution of IP procedures and policies to safeguard company innovations. Ensure accuracy and consistency of intellectual property data. Maintain logs tracking the progress of IP workflows. Serve as the administrator for IP management and docketing systems. Archive historical patent records and maintain documentation of legacy IP. Keep an up-to-date record of patent and trademark statuses. Monitor the progress of ongoing IP matters. Help manage documentation related to patent marking. Communicate with external legal counsel and track the progress of outsourced IP matters. Participate in Patent Review Board meetings. Track inventorship and assist with inventor recognition initiatives. Compile and distribute monthly reports on IP metrics. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in intellectual property administration or legal docketing. Solid knowledge of intellectual property laws and procedures. Skilled in using IP docketing and management software. Familiarity with American and Canadian IP regulations and prosecution processes. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is preferred.
