Maintenance Supervisor - Industrial Manufacturing

A leading global manufacturer of sustainable building solutions is seeking a
Maintenance Supervisor
to oversee maintenance operations at one of its industrial production facilities. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, safety compliance, and operational efficiency across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the maintenance department, including scheduling, staffing, and performance oversight. Coordinate maintenance activities with production leadership and external vendors. Oversee capital projects and contribute to capital budget planning. Analyze equipment repair costs and recommend repair or replacement strategies. Manage spare parts inventory and procurement. Participate in safety programs, including Process Safety Management and electrical safety. Implement and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and voltages up to 480V. Read and interpret technical diagrams (electrical, piping, PID loops) to expedite repairs. Ensure compliance with lockout/tagout procedures and general safety protocols. Maintain documentation related to maintenance activities, inventory, and procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial maintenance supervision. Certifications in mechanical or industrial trades (e.g., electrician, millwright, welding) preferred. Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound). Ability to work at heights using aerial lifts, scissor lifts, and ladders. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documentation. General knowledge of plumbing and carpentry.
