Position Overview
Catalent is seeking an experienced Machine & Equipment Technical Engineer / Senior Process Engineer to provide hands-on technical expertise and problem-solving support for the retrofit and optimization of SL3 machines/equipment to meet client product requirements. The role will focus on technical creativity, process optimization, and preparation for new product technical transfers.
Key Responsibilities Provide subject matter expertise to optimize line capabilities and prepare for new product introduction. Troubleshoot and resolve challenges involving isolators and tanks. Support planning for potential future tank expansions. Collaborate with client experts to assess product limitations and align equipment capabilities. Deliver technical support for line preparation ahead of commercial production. Train and mentor new engineering resources. Requirements & Technical Expertise System Ownership for syringe lines. Hands-on Filler and Isolator expertise, including Optima line equipment. Collaborate effectively with vendors and suppliers. Lead equipment through commissioning, from installation to qualification. Develop job plans and support training of operations team members. Strong GMP operational experience with Optima systems and filling lines. Proven VHP (Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide) and Cycle Development experience. Contribute to the development and updating of SOPs, batch records, training manuals, maintenance plans, and job routes for associated equipment.
