is looking for an enthusiastic and organized
Afterschool Assistant Site Coordinator
to help bring energy, structure, and heart to our afterschool programs!
This part-time leadership role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to make a meaningful impact on children's lives—every single afternoon.
What You’ll Be Doing: Support the Site Coordinator in the daily operation of a vibrant afterschool program Monitor activities to ensure a safe, enriching, and developmentally appropriate environment Design and implement creative educational and recreational activities Mentor and assist instructional staff with classroom management and program delivery Collect and review student evaluations and track data for program success Communicate with caregivers and school partners to foster strong relationships Lead family engagement events that build community and showcase student growth Help maintain compliance with standards from The Children’s Trust, DCF, and Miami Children’s Museum Assist with child recruitment, enrollment, and retention Uphold confidentiality and always promote a positive program culture Other duties as assigned Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field 2+ years of experience in developing educational activities 2+ years of supervisory experience Strong organizational and communication skills Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset CPR/First Aid/AED certification Must pass a Level 2 background screening and drug test Why Join Us?
