  • North Carolina License - REQUIRED
  • North Carolina DEA - REQUIRED
Candidates without both will not be considered Shifts Available
  • Day: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Night: 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Call room available)
  • Mid: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
  • 24-hour shifts: Available but not required
  • Coverage includes: Nights, weekends, holidays
Clinical Environment
  • Practice Setting: Trauma Surgery
  • EMR: Cerner Powerchart
  • Support Team:
    • 1 Attending Surgeon (floor/ED call)
    • 1 Attending Surgeon (ICU)
    • 3-4 APPs (floor, ED, ICU)
    • 2-3 Residents
    • 1-2 Trauma Nurse Leads (24/7 ED/ICU/floor support)
  • Night Coverage:
    • 1 Attending (ICU, floor, ED)
    • 1 APP (floor, ED)
    • 2-3 Residents
    • 1-2 Trauma Nurse Leads
Required Skills
  • Certification: Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
  • Procedures - Required:
    • Tube thoracostomy
    • Central venous catheter placement
  • Procedures - Preferred:
    • Arterial line placement
    • Intubation
