Locums - ENT (Otolaryngology) Physicia Location: Charleston, West Virginia Start Date: October 20, 2025 Assignment Type: Ongoing Coverage Needed: Full-Time Licensure & Certification Requirements
  • Board Certification - REQUIRED
  • State Medical License - REQUIRED
    • Willing to license IMLC or WV temp license candidates
  • DEA - REQUIRED
  • Certifications - REQUIRED: BLS, ACLS
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year
Schedule
  • Shift Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Call: 6 days/month (includes weeknights + weekends)
Practice Setting
  • Facility Type: Hospital-based
  • Hospital Size: 956 beds
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Department Overview:
    • General ENT
    • Audiology Department
    • Head & Neck Cancer Specialist on staff
Clinical & Work Details
  • Specialty: Otolaryngology
  • Patient Population: Pediatrics through adults
  • Patient Volume: Not specified - ask for clarification
  • Support Staff:
    • 3 Nurses
    • 1 NP (intermittent support)
    • 1 Pre-Cert Specialist (for scheduling, authorizations, testing, and surgeries)
  • Procedures: Must be proficient in all General ENT procedures
  • Practice Type: General ENT with surgical component
