Job Responsibilities:- Manage 15-20 outpatient patients and 3-5 inpatient patients daily.
- Full-time, negotiable schedule with on-call responsibilities (10 days per month).
- Provide care in an outpatient practice setting focusing on a 50/50 split of adult and geriatric populations.
- Engage in a practice that focuses on 25% hematology and 75% oncology.
- Collaborate with 2 physicians and utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient documentation.
- Participate in the growth of a new patient care tower projected to open in 2024.
- Provide in-person care; telemedicine options not available.
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience as an NP/PA in a Hematology/Oncology-specific clinic or hospital setting.
- Board Certification as an NP/PA is required.
- Experience in managing procedures related to VAD/CV catheters, FNAs/biopsies, and chemotherapy administration.
- Ability to participate actively in training and educational sessions with tumor boards and blood banks.
- Willingness to relocate or reside within a 40-mile radius of Ashtabula.
- State of Ohio NP/PA license (or willingness to obtain).
- BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA registration must be obtained prior to start.
