Job Title: Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner - Occupational Health (Hybrid Remote Clinic Leadership Opportunity)
Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid: 2 Days In-Clinic / 2 Days Remote) + Travel to Syracuse (2 3x/month)
Employment Type: Direct Hire Part-Time (0.8 FTE, 32 Hours/Week)
Compensation: $90,000 - $148,000 DOE + Comprehensive Benefits

We are seeking an experienced, autonomous, and visionary Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to launch and manage a new Occupational and Environmental Medicine clinic based in Albany, NY, with regular visits to Syracuse. This is a leadership opportunity where you will drive clinical care, guide strategic growth, and engage with the community, all while enjoying a flexible hybrid schedule and competitive compensation.

Role Highlights: 4-day workweek (Monday Thursday). Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM 5:00 PM. Work model: 2 days in-clinic, 2 days telehealth. Monthly travel to Syracuse (2 3 times/month). Start date: ASAP (training prior to credentialing). No call, weekends, holidays, drug screens, or narcotics. EMR: Epic.

Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in both Albany and Syracuse, conducting comprehensive assessments and treatment plans. Collaborate with the Medical Director, industrial hygienists, and case managers. Design and implement clinic policies, procedures, and workflows. Recruit, mentor, and supervise clinical and administrative staff. Oversee operations including budgeting, resource allocation, and quality assurance. Serve as liaison to an advisory board, build employer partnerships, and lead educational workforce wellness programs. Analyze performance metrics, design outreach strategies, and guide evidence-based care. Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations. Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives and develop clinical protocols.

Qualifications: Current NYS Nurse Practitioner license (Family or Adult). National board certification (AANP or ANCC). NPI number and Medicare enrollment (or eligibility within 6 months). Master s Degree in Nursing. BLS Certification (AHA or ARC). Minimum 3 years of clinical experience. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include occupational health experience, program development or administrative expertise, and proficiency in Spanish.

Compensation & Benefits: Salary range: $90,000 $148,000 DOE. Health, dental, and vision insurance. Employer-funded 401(k) after 1 year (3% quarterly / 5% annual with vesting).
