This role requires a dedicated registered nurse with a strong background in emergency medicine, ready to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a full-service emergency department. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver critical care in a fast-paced environment, managing a variety of medical emergencies.- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes and experiences.- Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to safety protocols.- Ensure effective patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans. Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, specifically in Emergency Department (ED).- Active Compact RN License required at submission.- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC are mandatory. Unit Information: - Number of Beds: 11- Staff: 16 (2 RNs on Day Shift, 1 RN on Mid Shift, 2 RNs on Night Shift)- Patient Ratios: Varies- EMR System: Meditech Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in a Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) environment.- Specialty certifications such as CEN, CPEN, or TCRN are advantageous. Desired Attributes: - Independent and autonomous work ethic.- Strong critical thinking and clinical skills.- Ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment and manage multiple priorities.- Exceptional interpersonal and relational skills to foster an optimal care experience.
