Responsibilities

n

As a STNA, you will care for guests under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse. Some responsibilities include:

n
    n
  • Take and record vital signs.
  • n
  • Measure and record height and weight, intake and output.
  • n
  • Care for the guests’ environment.
  • n
  • Assist with bathing, grooming and toileting.
  • n
  • Assist with eating and hydration.
  • n
  • Observe guests’ skin when administering care and reports changes to licensed nurse; provide skin care as needed.
  • n
  • Meet guests’ mental health and social service needs.
  • n

Qualifications

  • High school graduate/GED
  • n
  • STNA certification
  • n
n
