Division: 1872 Properties Reports to: Senior Manager of Project Design and Construction Job Status: Full-time, Exempt Location: Denver, CO or Remote Position Summary:

The Interior Designer position is creative, detail-driven and responsible for managing the design process across our growing portfolio of sorority house properties. This role leads interior projects from concept development through procurement and installation, ensuring design outcomes reflect brand identity, budget expectations and durability needs. The Interior Designer collaborates closely with internal teams—including senior leadership, project managers, asset managers and property managers—as well as external architects, consultants, and vendors. The ideal candidate combines design vision with strong construction documentation knowledge, FF&E expertise and a proven ability to manage project details from drawing set to final install. Key Job Responsibilities:

• Design interior concepts for new builds, renovations, and property refreshes that align with brand standards and user experience goals. • Lead space planning, mood boards, finish and material palettes, and FF&E selections for tenant rooms, public spaces, dining, lounge and amenity areas. • Produce and oversee construction documents including floor plans, interior elevations, finish schedules, lighting layouts and detailed millwork drawings. • Coordinate with external architects, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure design intent and operational functionality are fully integrated. • Manage FF&E process from specification to installation—including sourcing, procurement oversight, vendor coordination and site delivery schedules. • Conduct on-site walkthroughs and oversee punch lists and final staging for all interior capex projects. • Support the development of brand standards and style guides to ensure consistent design language across the portfolio. • Participate in budgeting, value engineering, and schedule reviews to balance design quality with project feasibility. • Give and receive written and verbal instructions in a clear and professional manner. Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related field (CIDA-accredited program preferred). Experience may be considered in lieu of degree. • 5+ years of interior design experience, with at least 3 years in hospitality environments preferred • NCIDQ certification or pursuing • Proven experience managing projects from concept through procurement and installation • Strong knowledge of constructions drawings, detailing and hospitality-grade materials and finishes • Experience working as an in-design consultant (or strong alignment with internal team collaboration) • Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp and Microsoft Office • Familiarity with major hospitality brands, soft brands or boutique design programs • Knowledge of advanced procurement strategies • Excellent communication, coordination and presentation skills • Ability to manage multiple projects across various stages and locations • Willingness to travel for site visits, installs, and facility openings (must have current driver’s license to rent cars while making site visits as well as a U.S. Passport or be willing to obtain one to visit properties in Canada) Physical Requirements and Essential Functions:

• Able to perform duties with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • While on site visits, able to perform duties with prolonged periods of standing and walking, and semi-frequent pulling, pushing and bending • While on site visits, easily able to ascend and descend 2-4 flights of stairs routinely throughout the day • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times • Travel: 30% Benefits Provided:
