We are seeking a self-starter, highly motivated individual who thrives on challenges and finding creative solutions. This role impacts Apple’s business, requiring interaction with internal teams to deliver cutting-edge products in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize highly scalable, distributed systems, using cloud-native technologies and micro services architecture to build robust and resilient solutions. Lead proof-of-concept projects and pilot implementations to showcase new insights. Strive for excellence by continuously seeking ways to enhance system reliability, performance, and security. Contribute to design and code reviews, and assist in debugging and resolving issues. Develop system components and take full responsibility for the timely delivery, quality of the work. Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA, support teams, and end users. Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Solve complex technical challenges, drive innovation, and stay up-to-date with new technologies. Collaborate with contractors to ensure successful project execution. Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal direction. Occasionally, will need to handle application production (warranty) support. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of proven experience in enterprise-level application development using advanced Oracle database technologies. Hands-on experience with large-volume databases for both OLTP and OLAP environments. Experience with databases such as SingleStore, Oracle, Snowflake, NoSQL, Graph, etc. Proven expertise in ETL, performance optimization, and maintenance of various solutions based on Oracle databases. Strong ability to research, design, and develop complex technical solutions involving multiple technologies. Preferred Qualifications

BA or BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies. Experience with Python, Pandas Data Frames, SQL Alchemy, numpy, etc. Experience in consuming and exposing web services (e.g., SOAP, REST). Knowledge of UNIX/Linux platforms and scripting experience with Shell, XML, JSON. AI/ML-related experience and strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering and RAG. Experience in developing applications for the Supply Chain business domain is a plus At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $220,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
