STRUCTURED CORPORATE CREDIT Structured Corporate Credit (“SCC”) is a growth area within Private Credit, focusing on financings backed by various forms of corporate credit support. SCC provides flexible funding solutions across the capital structure, engaging in a broad range of structured solutions as well as a wide range of asset classes, products, industries and sectors, including digital infrastructure, power, utilities and healthcare. This is an opportunity to play an important role in the development and growth of our global structured corporate credit platform and to get exposure to a global team and its full spectrum of activities, which are varied and challenging. These encompass transaction origination, underwriting, structuring, risk management and execution. Combined with the small deal team sizes, the broad range of transaction structures and sectors in which we invest provide an extremely wide range of exposure and skill set development. Vice Presidents support the business by working as part of small deal teams responsible for identifying, conducting due diligence, structuring, executing, and monitoring investments. The broad range of transaction structures and sectors in which we invest give Vice Presidents a broad range of exposure and ample opportunities to develop their investment acumen. Vice Presidents are also responsible for the training and support of the junior team members, ensuring effective portfolio management, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Given the growing nature of the investment strategy, Vice Presidents in Structured Corporate Credit form part of the core team from the start which results in a highly entrepreneurial and flat working environment and exciting career development opportunities. Responsibilities Originating investment opportunities across the product suite of Structured Corporate Credit Credit via early engagement with relevant parties (e.g. borrowers, sponsors and advisors) Leading all aspects of due diligence, business analysis and structuring to develop and refine investment theses Driving key work streams in structuring, negotiating and documenting investments Communicating and defending investment theses to internal stakeholders and committees, including relevant Investment Committees Actively monitoring existing investments in the portfolio Involvement in internal fund management and investor communications Contributing to platform expansion and potentially the introduction of new investment strategies Qualifications 6-7 years of investment banking, private credit or infrastructure experience Strong quantitative, financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving skills with a clear view to form independent judgements Passion for investing with specific interest in credit and structured products Excellent credit analysis, verbal and written communication skills Flexible and creative mindset; ability to analyze a variety of industries and businesses and capital structures Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through Ability to self-direct, analyze, evaluate and form independent judgments Ability to interact and build relationships with a wide variety of people Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150000-$300000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
