VP of Operations Job Description We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented project manager to join our clients team at one of the premier glass and glazing subcontractors in the Northeast. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing commercial exterior envelope and interior glazing projects, including curtain wall, storefront, windows, unitized curtain wall, exterior panels and all interior specialty glazing systems. Qualifications 5+ years of project management experience in the commercial construction industry, preferably in the façade subcontracting space. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within team-oriented environments. A self-starter who thrives in a low bureaucracy, collaborative environment. Proven ability to adapt and evolve work approaches in response to the ever-changing nature of the glazing industry. Strong knowledge of glazing systems including stick-built curtain wall, unitized curtain wall, storefront, window wall, and interior glass systems. Strong knowledge of metal and composite panel systems including aluminum plate, ACM, cementitious panels and architectural panel products. Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings. Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural specifications and proficiency of waterproofing and thermal requirements is critical. Strong general computer skills (e.g., Bluebeam, Excel, Procore). Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Understanding of current building codes and industry standards related to glass and glazing.
