JOB DESCRIPTION: · Advise clients on complex accounting policies across US GAAP and IFRS, including consolidation, derivatives, revenue recognition, lease accounting, business combinations, impairment, troubled debt restructuring, bad debt and loan loss methodologies, foreign currency accounting, and more. · Lead projects addressing operational accounting issues such as streamlining month-end close processes, facilitating external audits, and enhancing Finance, Planning & Analysis functions. · Oversee the transformation of finance and accounting functions, including process improvements, financial reporting, and management reporting in regulated environments like financial services and banking. · Provide advice on financial reporting, SEC filings, restatements, error corrections, and filings such as 10-K and 10-Q. · Assist clients with technical accounting issues and implement standards like ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 326, ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting standards. · Manage projects supporting complex transactions, including due diligence, balance sheet settlements, carve-outs, and integrations. · Oversee larger client engagements, including planning, staffing, budgeting, progress monitoring, and quality reviews throughout project lifecycles. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Law, or related field with 5 years of audit experience across multiple industries, including financial services. Candidates should have: 4 years of experience preparing audited financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP. Additional experience requirements include: 3 years in Big 4 firms managing audits for publicly traded financial services companies. Public speaking and presentation skills. Knowledge of standards set by FASB, IASB, FRC, and SEC. Further experience includes: 2 years in financial transformation and reporting in regulated environments. Overseeing teams and autonomous client communication. And at least 1 year in: Implementing new accounting guidance, standards, and auditing approaches, including IFRS and ISA updates. For California applicants, the compensation range is estimated between $188,750 and $260,000+ annually, plus bonuses and benefits.
