Senior Project Manager

role responsible for overseeing complex projects in distribution, substation, and transmission systems. The role involves high visibility, significant stakeholder engagement, risk management, and long-term strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the single point of contact for

multi-year, high-impact utility infrastructure projects Ensure project objectives are achievable and aligned with stakeholder expectations Guide engineering teams in producing risk and alternative analyses, studies, and conceptual designs Oversee and manage EPC contracts according to ESC Work Oversight Committee guidelines Negotiate third-party contracts in coordination with relevant departments Develop and promote organization-wide best practices Deliver presentations to company officers Resolve internal project conflicts and mentor junior project managers Required Experience:

8+ years in project management, project controls, engineering, or construction within utility or infrastructure sectors Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent education and experience PMP certification (required for new hires) Nice-to-Have Experience:

Experience working within or around land acquisition, CPUC permitting, and environmental compliance Familiarity with partnering agreements and cross-functional project delivery Required Skills:

Project management across utility infrastructure (distribution, substation, transmission) Stakeholder communication and leadership Risk management and contract administration Preferred Skills:

CPUC and environmental permitting knowledge EPC contract oversight Conflict resolution and team mentoring Public presentation skills Cross-functional collaboration Additional Skills:
