As a Food Runner at Chasing Aces, you're the link between our kitchen and guests enjoying their games. You'll deliver food and drinks quickly and accuratelywhether to a hitting bay, lounge area, or private event space. You'll work closely with servers, bartenders, and the culinary team to keep service smooth so guests never miss a moment. This is a fast-paced, high-energy role that requires teamwork, urgency, and a commitment to an unforgettable guest experience. Key Responsibilities: Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to hitting bays, lounge seating, and event spaces promptly and accurately. Ensure items are presented to standard and arrive at the correct temperature. Provide basic dish details when needed (ingredients, sides, sauces). Relay special requests or modifications to servers and the kitchen. Bay & Table Support Keep guest areas tidy by clearing plates, glassware, and trash without disrupting gameplay. Reset hitting bays and tables quickly for the next group, ensuring menus, condiments, and utensils are stocked. Assist with water refills and provide additional service items as needed. Teamwork & Service Flow Support servers, bartenders, and fellow runners to maintain steady food and drink flow to all areas. Restock glassware, condiments, and non-alcoholic beverages at service stations. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team, especially during peak times. Side Work & Venue Standards Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing duties including cleaning, stocking, and organizing service areas. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Uphold the energy, friendliness, and fun atmosphere that makes Chasing Aces stand out. Qualifications: Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting with strong attention to detail. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Friendly, guest-first mindset. Ability to carry trays, lift up to 25 lbs, and stand/walk for extended periods. Previous food running or hospitality experience preferred, not required.
