Under the general supervision of the Physical Medicine Supervisor and according to standards of treatment, performs objective assessments as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for patients of all ages according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral.
- Document all information according to departmental policies and procedures.
- Administer appropriate modalities, exercise regimens, or treatment procedures according to departmental policies and procedures on standards of treatment care.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Inpatient Physical Medicine Supervisor.
- Demonstrates knowledge of special needs and behaviors of specific age groups to include neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
Current or provisional Speech Language Pathologist license in applicable State of practice.
Other: Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
