Site Manufacturing and Assembly Manager
Industry: Green Energy / Advanced Composites
We are looking for an experienced Assembly Site Lead / Manufacturing Manager to oversee the launch and operations of a new assembly plant in Henderson, CO. This role is responsible for team leadership, production management, process improvement, and ensuring Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) performance from day one.
What You’ll Do
- Lead facility start-up, including equipment installation and operational readiness (January launch)
- Recruit, train, and manage supervisors, drivers, and assembly staff
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Oversee assembly operations, inventory control, and workflow optimization
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and organized work environment
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in manufacturing leadership, assembly operations, or plant management
- Background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement preferred
- Experience with facility start-ups or new production launches a plus
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Forklift certification is a plus
