Project Manager – Commercial Construction (Indoor Sports Focus Preferred)
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in commercial construction. Experience in indoor sports facilities is a plus. This role is ideal for someone who can take ownership of their projects, communicate effectively across teams, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Candidates local to Columbus are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure project success.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare estimates and support budgeting processes as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and smooth communication.
- Problem-solve independently and maintain accountability across teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects; experience with indoor sports facilities is a strong plus.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and handle competing priorities.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant construction experience.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in construction scheduling and project management tools.
