Full-Time Junior Construction Project Manager

To provide coordination for all phases of Multifamily re-construction projects, including coordinating all Shepperd Construction Staff and when applicable; subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications and design are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Project Manager shall be responsible for estimates, scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety.
Estimating, project buy out and issues subcontracts and purchase orders.
· Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
· Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
· Create and communicate with project team regarding ASI’s, RFI’s, and Material Submittals.
· Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work.
· Perform duties at multiple job sites, simultaneously.
· Preside over subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work.
· Assist in budgeting, bidding, issue and award of subcontracts on larger projects.
· Attend/ run pre-construction meetings with each subcontractor.
· Project Manager shall supervise all staff, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors on a daily basis. This supervision shall ensure adequate manpower is available for each task and compliant work performed. Project Manager shall supervise all Superintendents when applicable.

Communicate using the following tools: telephone, written logs, email, computer, smart phone and tablet devices.
· Endurance and ability to visit entire job site, including stairs or other elevated structures.
· Monitoring jobsite general health and safety.

· Uses equipment and materials properly.

Must be able to travel to the jobsite(s) as assigned.
· Minimum of Five years of verifiable experience, thorough knowledge of trades and be computer literate. Experience in Multifamily projects is preferred. Office experience of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Project & Outlook) is required.
